This Grade I listed Georgian mansion with it’s own chapel and 120 acres of parkland has everything you need for a truly stunning wedding. The chapel has white dreamy white wash walls and large windows letting in lots of natural light, the perfect alternative to a dark, traditional church. To continue this theme the Adam Hall (pictured below) also offers stunning natural light with pillars and high ceilings for your reception. Compton Verney has such a neutral colour palette to work with, so literally any colour scheme will work here! So whether you’re wanting soft, natural colours, or bold and bright ones, it won’t look out of place!

Styling

The shoot featured below (created by the lovely Safrina Smith) showcases soft and romantic styling with a bohemian twist. The opulent styling by The Two Hummingbirds really shows of what you can do with this space, from the luxurious draping of the tablecloths to the elegant place settings, this set up screams romance! The floral design (by Debrah J Flowers) to the entrance to Adam Hall is a real showstopper! Perfect for couples portraits and making an entrance in style! Dressing a venue with florals like this can really elevate the styling of the venue, don’t forget to tie the theme in with your bouquet and table flowers to have a consistent look.

I loved shooting at this venue, as photographers we are always looking for the best light and it doesn’t get much better than this! The grounds have plenty of spots for gorgeous couples photos – the lake, the bridge, the pathway through the meadow. The building itself also offers some stunning backdrops, so you really couldn’t ask for more!
