The Couple:

S + R’s stunning Autumn wedding! We were so lucky with the weather; at the start of October it was like a perfect summers day, but with amazing Autumn colours in the trees! The rich colours made the perfect backdrop for the group photographs. The bride looked sensational in a Martina Liana dress from Tilly Trotter Bridal and perfect hair and make up by Melissa Gaunt. Not forgetting the beautiful florals courtesy of The Flower Shop Oxford.

Bridal preparations take place in the grand master bedroom which overlooks the front lawn, the large windows letting in plenty of natural light. Groom prep is across the lawn in the sweet cottage, making sure the bride and groom don’t cross paths in the morning. The ceremony room casts beautiful natural light on the bride and groom, who had a celebrant ceremony which was more personal for the couple. I love a celebrant led ceremony; hearing all about the couples’ journey is far more engaging than just legal stuff.

The reception was held in the ancient Monks’ Refectory, which is steeped in history, but also has some gorgeous chandeliers to add some sparkle and glamour. This is also where the party happens!
